I love this bag. Is so light that you don't feel like having anything. You are able to fit a lot of items inside perfect for a medium day hike. I usually able to fit couple of water bottles, camera equipment and snacks without any struggle. The material is very resistant even in really hot weather. You can also use this bag in your daily basis if you are going for a walk or anything. Overall this product is great, totally recommended.
I love this bag, it is incredibly light weight, comfortable to carry, and can easily hold larger and medium sized items without creating a strain. I used it over a 3 day hiking session, covering only about 10 miles, but covering some pretty steep terrain. I carried a full size camera, two water bottles, water shoes, small ifak, and some food items and it was easily transportable. the water resistant feature was nice, since I sweat through my shirt and onto the bag but did not bleed through. I have 2 suggestions to make on it that I found would be helpful: the first is a small chest strap to help pull it forward, I am awkwardly built and having the ability to cinch it in front helps when I backpack. Secondly would be the inclusion of a zippered pocket inside or the one on the outside of the bag, I know that it is packable, but I was constantly worried my keys or something would fall out if it was unzipped at all; I think just due to the shallowness of the pocket it would help make it more practical. Other than these, I really love this bag and I take it kayaking with me nearly every weekend! It can also double as a stuff sack and it’s so small when packed that it fits into any go bag easily. Great product!
Loved the multiple pockets for nalgene-sized water bottles. Packs so small, but holds surprisingly a lot! 3 things to recommend. 1. Put a flap in for a hydration reservoir tube at the top. 2. Put a clip or zipper on the outer pocket so things don't fall out. 3. Put hooks on the water bottle pockets for carabiners to hold the bottle in place.
Thanks for making a great day pack!
I recently got my Alberta pack, just in time for a trip to Voyagers National Park. This pack really fit the bill perfectly. My old pack was bulky, heavy, and just not good. The Alberta is beyond lightweight. It’s also super comfortable. It can handle all that you would need on a day hike. I highly recommend to anyone in the market for a simple day pack.
My favorite thing about this pack is how it comes in handy for so many occasions. Packing for a weekend visit to the grandparents? Done. Hauling binders and books to class? Gotcha. Day hike that requires sweaters? Perfect. I love how lightweight and small it is when it packs in on itself - perfect for taking on longer trips for short excursions that don't require all the gear packed with me. Great pack. I'm a fan of it.
