My biggest struggle with daypacks is that they cut into my shoulders with even just a few light items in the bag because there is no chest strap. This then cause me pain and make my hands go numb. The 25L Alberta Pack's wider shoulder straps definitely eases that even with heavier loads. Though I still wish it had some kind of chest strap to take some pressure off my shoulders.
Very durable fabric, holds lots of items, and stuffs down small. I will be looking forward to taking this on international trips.
This pack is perfect for those day hikes out into the Wilderness. Large enough to hold an extra set of socks, water and snacks. If you looking for something overnight this isn't it, but that's not what it is made for so no sense in going on there. The straps are comfortable for the 13lbs of gear, water, and food I had in it. Also a great carry-on bag for jet setting. All in all its a great buy for the price.
Such a great backpack!! So happy I invested!! Def recommend
It's hard to find a daypack that is small, lightweight, and has straps that don't dig into your shoulders when you add weight to it. But, miracle of miracles, this one is exactly that! I was shocked at how comfortable the straps are, especially with how minimal the pack is. And I hiked with about 10 lbs in it. I also love the side pockets, which securely hold in water bottles, even when I'm rock hopping across a river.
My only complaint is that on my very first hike with it, the loops on the shoulder straps (presumably for holding a water bladder hose) both ripped. I don't really need them, so it's not a huge deal, but does make me question durability. But so far, everything else is holding up wonderfully!
Running across the Ad for this pack, I wondered if it would actually do all the things it was advertised to be. Well let's just say that I am completely thrilled with my purchase. When not in use, this rolls down to a tiny pack that can easily be carabined to your favorite hiking gear; like your belt loop. When in use, you can stuff just about anything in this and it easily gives enough room for that day hike. So add that camping stove, extra layering items for warmth, camp meal kit, flashlight, etc. Stuff it till it's full....you'll be absolutely amazed at the amount of gear it will hold. Now what's my favorite thing about this pack? It has to be that the material and reinforced zipper are completely water proof. So pack your camera and head out because a quick change in weather will keep it clean and dry. I absolutely love this pack!
